As a Door-to-Door Carer with TrueArk Healthcare, you’ll travel between clients’ homes, delivering compassionate and high-quality care that enables individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own surroundings.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, empathetic, and passionate about supporting others with dignity and respect.

Specific Skills

Compassion & Empathy - A caring nature and a sincere desire to support people in maintaining independence and dignity.

Excellent Communication - Able to listen actively and speak clearly and respectfully with clients, families, and colleagues.

Reliability & Timekeeping - Consistent punctuality and the ability to follow a schedule are critical in home care.

Attention to Detail - Following care plans accurately, administering medication properly, and documenting care clearly.

Problem-Solving - Ability to think quickly and respond calmly to changes or unexpected situations.

Responsible For

Personal Care - Support clients with everyday personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting—always with kindness and discretion.

Medication Support - Help clients manage their medication by offering timely reminders or administering medications as directed in their care plan.

Companionship - Provide emotional support and companionship by engaging in conversation, listening, or participating in hobbies and light activities.

Mobility Assistance - Help clients move safely around their home and support them with short walks or trips in the community when needed.

Household Support - Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and preparing nutritious meals to promote a clean and comfortable home environment.

Running Errands - Assist with shopping, prescription collections, or accompanying clients to appointments to ensure their needs are fully met.

Educational Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Basic English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)
Ability to read care plans, write reports, and communicate effectively.


Desirable Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social Care
Preferred for candidates looking to grow into senior or specialist roles.

Specialist Training (if applicable)
Any additional training in dementia care, end-of-life care, or mental health support is an advantage.
